Overall: Lawn Lake is a long hike mostly in the trees. The real beauty of this area is the high alpine meadow above the lake where you’ll find the small trail to Crystal Lakes which I’ve heard are the deepest lakes in the park. There are also three superb summits: Fairchild, Hague and Mummy.

Overall: A quiet hike in the trees with few people make this a great hike for a cool cloudy day. Be aware that the trail goes up, then descends to the lake.
